Which style of Marquee is right for you?
We supply a large range of marquees including all sizes of Aluminium Frame Clearspan marquees upto 20m wide, Traditional marquees upto 40’ wide, Pagoda style marquee and Gazeebo’s. We can provide marquees for events from small intimate dinner parties upto large seated events or county shows and music festivals.
We also have our own purpose designed trade stands known as Monopitch Marquees.
What are the differences between the various marquees?
Aluminium Frame Clearspan Marquees

are suitable for most weather conditions – except hurricanes and tornadoes – and all ground conditions including concrete, tarmac and block paving. They can be attached to buildings and can be built in different size modules.
Traditional Marquees

can be described as the ‘old fashioned’ marquees.. They have centre pole(s) and guy ropes to hold them up. The advantages are that they are cheaper, prettier and take less time to erect/dismantle.
The disadvantages are that they are more susceptible to problems in bad weather, they can only be erected on a peggable surface such as grass and they require more space for the guy ropes.
Ideal uses are Community Fun days, village fetes, summer weddings and festivals.
Pagoda style Marquees

we have two types – Aquila Shell Tent and Chinese Hat – these are the same style as the Aluminium Frame Clearspan Marquee, the difference being the style of roof.
Monopitch Marquees

are designed for trade stands with built in banner rails which will also take a sheet of plywood – 8’ x 4’ width for merchandise can be attached. These can be erected on any surface in multiples of 3m to any length.
The other advantages of the Monopitch marquee is that the rain runs away to the rear of the marquee thereby saving customers and stock from getting wet. Ideal for festivals, markets etc
Gazeebo/Mini Marquees are lightweight pop up tents with a multitude of uses but are really not suitable in strong winds or heavy rain.
